Towards creation of a national database on science and technology

20-27<span style="font-size:12.0pt;line-height: 115%;font-family:" times="" new="" roman";mso-fareast-font-family:"times="" roman";="" mso-ansi-language:en-us;mso-fareast-language:en-us;mso-bidi-language:ar-sa"="" lang="EN-US">The computerization of Indian Science Abstracts has been described, which will reduce the processing time and help bring out the final output on target. It is contemplated to create a machine readable searchable, national database of Indian scientific and technical literature.
