729-734Several polyesters have been synthesized by high temperature poly-condensation of 2-(β-naphthylamino)-4,6-bis(naphthoxy-3-carbonyl chloride)-S-triazine (NANCCT) with each of the aromatic diols: bisphenol-A (BPA), bisphenol-C(BPC), 1,5- and 1,7-dihydroxynaphthalene (DHN-1,5 and DHN-1,7), 1,4-dihydroxyanthraquinone (DHAQ-1,4), phenolphthalein (Ph), catechol (C), resorcinol (R) and hydroquinone (Hq) and characterized by solubility, density, viscosity measurement, IR spectra and thermogravimetric analysis.
