Synthesis and characterization of manganese(IV) and manganese(II) complexes with bis(2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehydehyde)malonoyldihydrazone

422-425The manganese complexes [MnIV(CH2L)(H2O)2](1) and [MnII(CH2LH2)(A)2] (where A = H2O (2), pyridine (py,3), 3-picoline (3-pic, 4) and 4-picoline (4-pic, 5)) have been synthesized from bis(2-hydroxy- 1 -naphthaldehyde) malonoyldihydrazone (CH2LH4) and characterized by elemental analyses, molecular weight and molar conductance data, magnetic moment, electronic, IR and ESR spectral data
