HUBUNGAN PEMAHAMAN NILAI TOLERANSI ANTAR SUKU DENGAN SIKAP SISWA DALAM LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL

The aim of this research was to explain how the relationship between the understanding of the value of tolerance among the tribe by the attitude of students in SMP N 2 Pringsewu. The method that used in this research was descriptive method by using quantitative approach with the sample of respondents were 30. The main technique to submitted the data was using test and scale of attitude. Based on data analysis, it obtained the results that: (1) value of tolerance among the tribes in SMP N 2 Pringsewu showed less understand category; (2) students attitude of SMP N 2 Pringsewu in social environment was induded to agree category; (3) based on hypothesis analysis results there was a closeness relationship that was high between understanding the value of tolerance among the tribe by the attitude of student in social environment in SMP N 2 Pringsewu.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan bagaimanakah hubungan pemahaman nilai toleransi antarsuku dengan sikap siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan sampel berjumlah 30 responden. Teknik pokok pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan skala sikap. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil bahwa: (1) Pemahaman nilai toleransi antar suku di SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu menunjukkan kategori kurang paham; (2) Sikap siswa dalam lingkungan sosial SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu pada kategori setuju; (3) Berdasarkan hasil analisis hipotesis yang dilakukan, maka terdapat keeratan hubungan yang tinggi antara hubungan pemahaman nilai toleransi antar suku dengan sikap siswa dalam lingkungan sosial di SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu.Kata kunci: pemahaman nilai, toleransi antar suku, sikap siswa
