Diabetes mellitus is one of major chronic health problems and the prevalence increases every year. Poor blood glucose control or uncontrolled hyperglycemia condition is the major reason diabetes mellitus can cause some complication in oral. As of this condition, numerous diabetes mellitus sufferers have poor quality of life because inadequate in mastication. For improving quality of life diabetic patients, they need denture to help them in mastication process. However, there some debates about denture for diabetic patients; because diabetes mellitus can be contraindication in prosthodontic treatment.
