406-409In recent years, there has been intense activity, both experimental and theoretical, in exploring fascinating physical properties of newer form of carbon, namely fullerenes. Fullerenes are currently being widely investigated since they show the anomalous properties of bulk modulus and specific heat of the materials as compared to the bulk material. A simple theoretical Equation of State model is used to analyze the temperature dependence of thermal expansion coefficient, relative volume change and isothermal bulk modulus of a fullerene C₆₀. A good agreement between our theoretically calculated results and available experimental data has been obtained
