FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI MASYARAKAT BANDA ACEH DALAM PEMILIHAN ASURANSI JIWA SYARIAH

AbstractThe growth of Islamic Life Insurance in Banda Aceh is slow, yet it has been established since 1995. Besides, Aceh is implementing Islamic Sharia, including the economy, which is fair for people to choose Islamic Life Insurance. The goal of this research is to disclose the following; 1. What are the factors that affecting Banda Aceh citizen to choose Islamic Life Insurance? 2. How is the perspective of Banda Aceh citizen toward Islamic Life Insurance? 3. How is the the effect and correlation between their perspective with the process of choosing Islamic Life Insurance? The research is done through a questionnaire as primary data with Likert scale 1-5, the ability of research tools is measuredd by Cronbach Alpha 0.6 and the method of the research is quantitative method with multiple linear regression and correlation of computer software, SPSS version 21.0. The outcome of the research suggest that the independent variable, product and religiousness, significantly affecting the process of choosing Islamic Life Insurance. However, other variable such as price, place, and promotion are not significantly affecting the process of choosing Islamic Life Insurance in Banda Aceh. Thus, the people perspective toward the product and religiousness are the main factors. Furthermore, the the data suggested the the correlation between perspective with the process of choosing Islamic Life Insurance as 77.4 percent.Keywords: product, price, place, promotion, and religiousness AbstrakPertumbuhan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah di Banda Aceh berjalan secara lambat, padahal keberadaannya sudah sejak tahun 1995. Di sisi lain Aceh adalah daerah yang menerapkan syariat Islam, tidak terkecuali dalam bidang ekonomi, maka sepatutnya masyarakat memilih Asuransi Jiwa syariah sebagai pilihan dalam berasuransi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui masalah berikut ini: Pertama, faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi masyarakat Banda Aceh dalam pemilihan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah? Kedua, bagaimana persepsi masyarakat Banda Aceh terhadap asuransi jiwa syariah? dan ketiga, bagaimana pengaruh dan hubungan antara persepsi dengan pemilihan asuransi jiwa syariah? Penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner sebagai data primer dengan skala likert 1-5, keandalan alat ukur penelitian diuji dengan Cronbach Alpha 0,6 dan metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan korelasi dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 21.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas hanya produk, dan religiusitas yang signifikan mempengaruhi masyarakat sedangkan harga, lokasi dan promosi tidak signifikan berpengaruh dalam keputusan pemilihan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah di Banda Aceh. Jadi persepsi masyarakat tentang produk dan religiusitas adalah yang utama, hal ini dapat dilihat pengaruh dan hubungan antara persepsi dengan pemilihan Asuransi Jiwa Syariah sebesar 77,4 persen.Kata Kunci: produk, harga, loksi, promosi, dan religiusitas
