Artist's statement: "The Monuments project is made up of two parallel bodies of work; one involving the construction of minimalist facades out of Lego and the other based around a series of designs for imaginary buildings that attempt to give cultural events a visual form. These map-like structures are created with a software drawing program and then produced as large scale screen prints on fabric, paper or plastic.
