Aims Minimal model analysis of intravenous glucose tolerance test (IVGTT) data represents the reference method to assess insulin sensitivity (SI) and glucose effectiveness (SG) that quantify the insulin-dependent and insulin-independent processes of glucose disappearance, respectively.
