ABSTRACT: This paper presents the outcome of an International Workshop on Evaluation of Eurocode 7 that was held in Trinity College, Dublin in March/April 2005. The background to theWorkshop was the publication in November 2004 of Eurocode 7: Geotechnical design – Part 1: General rules. Prior to theWorkshop, ten geotechnical design examples were distributed to European engineers to prepare solutions to Eurocode 7. A large number of solutions with a range of values were received.
