The proper use of language, whether in its written or spoken form, is a theme that requires constant reflections in teaching practice. Considering that the school space should provide the student with contact with the cultured variety of the language, this article presents an analysis of the textual productions belonging to the genre of opinion, resulting from the application of a didactic sequence (DOLZ, NOVERRAZ, SCHNEUWLY, 2004 ) in a class of the 9th grade of Elementary School. Through the comparison between the initial and final productions, we analyze the presence of linguistic interferences (KABATEK, 1997) as a symptom of discursive traditions.
