ABSTRAK Tesis ini membahas tentang Indenpensi Dokter Dalam Memberikan Resep Obat Kepada Pasien Dikaitkan Dengan Kode Etik Kedokteran Berdasarkan Surat Keputusan Pengurus Besar Ikatan Dokter Indonesia No.221/Pb/A.4/04/2002 Tentang Penarapan Kode Etik Kedokteran Indonesia (Studi Di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Landak). Kesimpulan dari tesis ini bahwa Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan sehingga dokter dalam memberikan resep obat kepada pasien terpengaruh atau dipengaruhi oleh perusahaan apotik sebagai berikut Faktor Kepentingan Finansial Adanya kolusi dokter dan perusahaan farmasi menjadi penyebab mahalnya harga obat dinegeri ini. Badan Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Balibang) - Departemen Kesehatan RI dan Badan Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) mensinyalir mahalnya harga obat di Indonesia 200 kali lipat dari harga obat di pasaran dunia dan Faktor sinyalemen kolusi dokter dengan perusahaan farmasi, dari hasil pengamatan, niat, kemauan atau gagasan untuk berkolusi bukan hanya datang dari perusahaan farmasi. Sehingga pasien datang berobat ke dokter, karena dokterlah yang bisa mendiagnosis penyakit dan memilih obatnya. Dalam hubungan itu pasien menyerahkan sepenuhnya pilihan obat untuk kesembuhan pasien kepada dokter, yang kemudian menuliskan resep. Namun tanpa disadari, begitu pasien datang berobat ke dokter, ada kepentingan lain di luar hubungan pasien dan dokter. Perusahaan-perusahaan farmasi berharap bagaimana agar dokter yang memeriksa Anda meresepkan obat-obatan produksi mereka. Obat yang diresepkan sang dokter kemudian pasien menebus ke apotik. Upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh Ikatan Dokter Indonesian terhadap dokter yang memberikan resep obat kepada pasien atas pengaruh perusahaan apotik yaitu Menjatuhkan pelanggaran Kode Etik terhadap dokter yang memberikan resep obat kepada pasien atas pengaruh perusahaan apotik Etika kedokteran merupakan seperangkat perilaku anggota profesi kedokteran dalam hubungannya dengan klien / pasien, teman sejawat dan masyarakat umumnya serta merupakan bagian dari keseluruhan proses pengambilan keputusan dan tindakan medic ditinjau dari segi norma-norma / nilai-nilai moral. Dan melakukan pengawasan terhadap dokter RSUD Landak Ikatan Dokter Indonesia (IDI) menegaskan, bagi dokter dengan sengaja menjual atau mengarahkan pasien menebus obat di tempat yang ditunjuk, itu melanggar aturan.
