Zinc coated steels have been in use for the last several years. Zinc as coating provides excellent galvanic prot-ection to steels, thus preventing rusting of the steel base until the coating itself has been consumed by corr-osion. It also provides protection to cut edges. Inspite of the above facts, the life of zinc coating is relative-ly very short. It possesses inadequate corrosion resis-tance to high temperatures
