The result of this research is that Charlie Kelmeckis suffers anxiety asresult of his traumas and unpleasing childhood experience, which areexperiencing a harassment from the important figure in his childhood; aunt Helen.Consequently, his superego has strong influence to cope the bad memories of auntHelen to keep her figure as a good person. hence, his ego uses defense mechanismto against anxiety.
