Lead is one of the most contaminant for the environment, which is resulted from aerosol, industry, automobile exhaust etc. Predominant source of emission is identified to be leaded gasoline. Detail historical and trend of lead content in the environment is necessary to describe, in order to monitor the quality of environment. This requires long time series lead data. Coral can provide this data through analyzing the lead content in its skeleton.
