Biomass multilayer flat microwave absorber is an innovation in the design of microwave absorbers. This research uses flat shape design and biomass materials targeting some improvement in terms of installation and fabrication. Coconut shells (granular), coconut shells (fine) and palm ashes are the biomass materials used to fabricate flat microwave absorber since previous study showed that they contain high percentage of carbon. The absorber shape, number of layers and biomass materials are the variables manipulated in the microwave absorption performance investigation.
