Wind energy can be extracted by using the suitable wind turbine with the correct wind speed at few observed location in Malaysia. Generally, Malaysia has a potential to used wind energy as alternative energy because the wind speed can reached until 12 meter per second in Malaysia and this is advantages to exploit the wind power to drive the windmill for water pumping system. Calculations have been made on the energy wind speed value which is required for the system to work. If wind speed is low, the windmill can be adjusted by placing the connecting rod closer to the center of the rotation where it requires less work to function.
