The present paper deals with the study of micropolar fluid flow of an unsteady incompressible free convection heat and mass transfer flow past a semi-infinite vertical plate fixed firmly in porous medium with the influence of heat absorption, viscous dissipation, Soret, Dufour and chemical reaction has been analyzed. The governing partial differential equations are transformed into a set of coupled partial differential equations using suitable dimensionless quantities. The resulting non-dimensional boundary value problem is solved by the Galerkin finite element method.
