First record of lissocarcinus orbicularis associated with sea cucumber, thelenota ananas, in the north east of celebes sea

A field observation of the presence of a portunid crab,Lissocarcinus orbicularis on the outer body of its holothurians host,Thelenota ananas were carried out during a survey at Mabul Island,situated at the South East of Sabah, Malaysia. The background colourof the crab biomimics it against the background colour of the bodywall of T. ananas. This report is a first observation of L. orbicularisat the outer surface of T. ananas in the north east of Celebes Sea
