The implementation of Total Asset Management (TAM) is important for sustainable development. Safety and security are aspects that need to be assured of in sustainable development. To ensure that the aspects are assured, the construction industry professionals who are involved in designing, creating, maintaining and disposing the assets should have knowledge in asset management.
