The development of increasingly sophisticated technology in the field of survey has resulted in more terrestrial laser scanners were being used to generate 3D models such as buildings, slope, landslide and others. This is because laser scanners are capable of making measurements in a short period of time but still provides good accuracy of the millimeter level. However, the laser scan data is static and cannot be applied for other 3D uses.
