The weight and survival of larvae of Bombyx mori was observed to significantly (P < 0.01) influenced by the variation in relative humidity between 55% to 80 % RH. The larval weight and survival of larvae were noticed to be minimum at 55% RH. Maximum larval weight and survival of larvae were recorded at 75% RH. Decrease in humidity from 80% to 75% RH caused increase in the larval weight and survival of larvae but further decreased below 75% RH caused gradual decline in larval performance of Bombyx mori
