The Level-1b radiance products contain the Earth radiance measurements, including annotation data such as geolocation. There are four different spectrometers, each with its own optics and detector: medium wave ultraviolet (UV), long wave ultraviolet combined with visual (UVIS), near infrared (NIR), and short wave infrared (SWIR). The measurements are performed in 8 spectral bands between 270 and 2385 nm. For each data granule, typically of the size of one orbit, there is a data product for each of the eight bands. Sensing is performed only on day part of the orbit, thus the data coverage per orbit is less than the orbital duration of 100 minutes
