The representation of social condition of gaza in sonia nettnin poem: Gaza told me

The objective of this research is to find out the representation of social condition in Sonia Nettnin Poem: Gaza Told Me. The writer studied the theory of representation and the poem Gaza Told Me by Sonia Nettnin as the unit analysis. The theory in this research is based on representation theory by stuart Hall. The methodology used in this research is qualitative descriptive method. The research is accomplished by the writer by reading and analyzing the relation among words or sentences which produces particular meaning. Then the writer collected the data to target text occurred. First the research focuses on how the poem Gaza Told Me is represented through Operation Cast Lead on Desember 27, 2008 and Continued throughout most of January 2009. By referring to discussion, finally the writer comes to a conclusion that is Gaza has the long War Israel � Palestine that brought the palestine to destruction
