This thesis elaborates the Australian responses to Saffron Revolution in Myanmar (2007). Saffron revolution was one of the uprisings in Myanmar that is led by Monks. The military regime runs the government and it makes increasing of oil price at that time. As a response, Myanmar people launch demonstration demanding military junta to step down. However, military brutally attacked the demonstrators which is continued with tortured and arrested them. This action is obviously against human rights. As a state that highly concern to human rights issues, it is Australian role to respond to this tragedy.
