I will outline the rationale and unique benefits of simulations and describe one such language assessment model designed at an Islamic Junior High School Bogor to test English Speaking ability. I will then report on the results of a pre-test and post-test to the participants to evaluate (a) the usefulness of the simulation and (b) the assessment techniques in providing diagnostic feedback for improvement, concluding with a short discussion of results of this research.
