Analysis on students' error in using preposition of lacation (a case study at seventh grade students of Muhammadiyah 17 Junior High school, Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan)

The purpose of this research is to describe the students� error in using preposition of location at seventh grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 17 Ciputat Timur. It includes what the error are faced by the students in using preposition of location, and the reason why the students find error in using preposition of location. The aim of the research is to anlyze about the students� error in using preposition of location at seventh grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 17 Ciputat. Sample of the research is as many 40 students. This research is use case study method and the data collected based on the test given. The finding of the research that there is the reason why the students� find the error in using preposition of location, because the students have not mastered yet about kind of preposition. Based on the finding previously, it can be suggested that the teacher should explained about use of preposition of location in clearly way in other to make students understand them easly and the teacher should give many exercises about preposition to the student
