The purpose of this study is to know the difficulty level of the English National Examination Tryout test for Junior High School Level Period 2010/2011 tested at the third year students of SMPN 6 Tangerang Selatan. This research is using quantitative approach. The method of the study is field research. The result of this research can be used for the teachers to know which material should the teacher more focused on in the classroom and what kind of question type that claimed difficult by the students. Also, this research can be used as a tool to make a comparison of similar research that is comparing Tryout Test for �UN� period by period to ensure if the tests period by period or year by year still qualify as good test or not a good one.
