Translation via borrowing Sony Ericsson W200i mobile phone guide book

This research is aimed to analyze the English borrowing words in Indonesian language in a User�s Guide Book of Sony Ericsson. The important purpose in this research is to categorize the types of borrowing words from English into Indonesian language. The writer uses descriptive qualitative method, to describe and analyze the meanings of the English borrowing words in Indonesian. This research also explains the types of words such as loan word and loan blends. To support the analysis, the writer uses some dictionaries, namely Dictionary of Electrical & Computer Engineering (2003), A Glossary of Computing Terms (1991), Kamus Inggris Indonesia (2003), and Kamus Komputer & Teknologi Informasi (2007). The writer uses the theory of borrowing. Finally, the writer finds eighteen words from the User�s Guide Book of Sony Ericsson. The borrowing from English in Indonesian most of them is loan words and loan blend
