Upaya penggunaan media visual figure terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada bidang studi IPS di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Bojongduren Kelas III Sukabumi

Social Science subjects for most students still regarded as a difficult and boring subject, seen from a low student learning in social studies. The factors that cause learning difficulties experienced by students in social studies is the selection and application of teaching methods and teaching aids varies throughout and still less focused on the teacher. Problem formulation is: Efforts to use visual media figure can improve student learning outcomes madrasah class III Bojongduren IPS Sukabumi on the field of study. while the goal is to determine the implementation of the use of visual media figure in improving student learning outcomes in social studies class III in Sukabumi Bojongduren madrasah. Study of classroom action research, there are four main activities that exist in every cycle of planning, action or execution, observation, evaluation, and reflection. methods of collecting data through observation and tests. the results of this study indicate that prior to applying the learning to use visual media figures, student achievement in social studies is still in the low category with an average of 69.5 points far below the KKM. after taking action figure use visual media in the second cycle, the value of students increased to 100 which means that the completeness minimum target is reached but not maximum, with an average value of 79.00. Research results in the first cycle indicates that the use of visual media figure can increase student achievement. However, to avoid the assumption that the results of the study in the first cycle only coincidence, the researchers went on penelitiam into the next cycle (cycle II) with improved results. based on the above results, it can be concluded that the use of visual media figure can improve student learning outcomes in social studies class III in Sukabumi Bojongduren madrasa
