Penrapan model pembelajaran advance organizer untuk meningkatkan sikap positif siswa dalam pelajaran matematika

The purpose of this study was to determine 1) What is the Advance Organizer of Learning model to increase positive attitudes of students in math, 2) How do students 'response to the implementation of Advance Organizer on the Learning models of mathematics lessons, 3) What is the Advance Organizer of Learning model to improve students' mathematics learning outcomes . This research was carried out in SMP N 3 Ciputat, South Tangerang, Banten in Academic Year 2009/2010. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of four stages, namely planning, execution, observation, and reflection. The research instrument used was a positive attitude student observation sheet, the daily student journals, interviews, and tests. Research results revealed that the implementation of Advance Organizer of Learning model to increase positive attitudes of students in mathematics, from the average percentage of 67.12% in the first cycle increased to 87.62% in cycle II. Give a positive response by an average of 55.624% in the first cycle increased to 78.75% in the second cycle, and can improve learning outcomes math average of 69 in the first cycle increased to 79.37 on the second cycle Hopefully the results of this research was useful in efforts to improve the quality of education in Indonesia
