Um estudo sobre aplicações de TV digital e segunda tela

It is not now that television has become one of the largest media outlets in the world and is considered a great source of entertainment, culture and information. With the arrival of digital TV beyond the benefits brought with the picture and sound of high definition, users are no longer mere spectators and began to interact with programming and can also enjoy a variety of computational services via the TV. This paper is intended to clarify and show the various faces of Digital TV, presenting an overview of the same, emphasizing the character of the concept of interactivity and Second Screen. This course of study involves general aspects of interactive digital TV, its architecture and technical components, in addition to the programming languages used to develop applications for Digital TV. After the theoretical background, is shown the implementation of Second Screen applications in various usage scenarios, using the technologies and methodologies discussed in this work.Não é de agora que a televisão se tornou um dos maiores meios de comunicação do mundo, sendo considerada uma grande fonte de entretenimento, cultura e informação. Com a chegada da TV Digital além dos benefícios trazidos com a imagem e o som de alta definição, os usuários deixaram de ser meros espectadores e passaram a interagir com a programação, podendo também usufruir de uma variedade de serviços computacionais por meio da TV. O presente trabalho destina-se a mostrar e esclarecer as diversas faces da TV Digital, apresentando uma visão geral sobre a mesma, enfatizando o caráter da interatividade e o conceito de Segunda Tela. Tal estudo envolve aspectos gerais da TV Digital, sua arquitetura e componentes básicos, além das linguagens de programação utilizadas no desenvolvimento de aplicações para TV Digital. Após o embasamento teórico, é apresentada a implementação de aplicações de Segunda Tela, em diversos cenários de uso, utilizando as tecnologias e metodologias abordadas neste trabalho
