This paper deals with the development of a ludic product for children from four to six years of age, which can motivate and encourage them to the habit of reading, making this activity more enjoyable and fun. The idea for the project arose due to low reading index in Brazil. Considering countries like Spain and Portugal, Brazil has a low reading index, the data are revealed in a survey conducted by the Pró-Book Institute in 2011, demonstrating that the population does not have reading habit or read by "obligation" where the most frequent readings are textbooks.
