O lúdico como estímulo à leitura

This paper deals with the development of a ludic product for children from four to six years of age, which can motivate and encourage them to the habit of reading, making this activity more enjoyable and fun. The idea for the project arose due to low reading index in Brazil. Considering countries like Spain and Portugal, Brazil has a low reading index, the data are revealed in a survey conducted by the Pró-Book Institute in 2011, demonstrating that the population does not have reading habit or read by "obligation" where the most frequent readings are textbooks. Given this reality the project proposes to develop a product incorporating ludic proposal as a resource for learning. In developing the project, the methodologies used were based on Lobach (2001), Bonsiepe (1984) and Baxter (2000). For the theoretical background, issues about reading, learning, cognition, perception, toys and games (the ludic), colors and typography features geared towards children were approached. The results and analysis of the survey gave direction for setting the requirements and parameters that guided the following phases of the project. As project solution, we obtained the development of a product incorporating actions of interaction for reading motivation and contributions dealing with the use of typography, how can they encourage / discourage the readability of a text, spacing settings, font sizes, and other characteristics that best suit the public. It is expected that the chosen solution can assist and contribute in the reading process, so that the child take interest in reading and make it a habitat.O presente trabalho trata do desenvolvimento de um produto lúdico para crianças de quatro a seis anos de idade, o qual possa motivar e estimular as mesmas ao hábito pela leitura, tornando tal atividade mais prazerosa e divertida. A idéia do projeto surgiu devido ao baixo índice de leitura no Brasil. Levando em consideração países como Espanha e Portugal, o Brasil tem um baixo índice de leitura, os dados são revelados em pesquisa realizada pelo Instituto Pró-Livro no ano de 2011, demonstrando que a população não tem hábito de leitura e quando lêem é por “obrigação” onde as leituras mais freqüentes são os livros didáticos. Diante dessa realidade o projeto propõe-se a desenvolver um produto incorporando proposta lúdica como recurso para aprendizagem. No desenvolvimento do projeto as metodologias utilizadas foram baseadas em Löbach (2001), Bonsiepe(1984) e Baxter (2000). Para o referencial teórico foram abordados temas sobre leitura, aprendizagem, cognição, percepção, brinquedos e brincadeiras (o lúdico), cores e características tipográficas voltada para crianças. Os resultados e análises da pesquisa deram direcionamento para definição dos requisitos e parâmetros, que nortearam as etapas seguintes do projeto. Como solução do projeto obteve-se o desenvolvimento de um produto incorporando ações de interação para motivação a leitura e as contribuições no que trata do uso de tipografias, como elas podem favorecer/desfavorecer a legibilidade de um texto, as configurações de espaçamentos, tamanhos de fontes dentre outras características que mais se adéquem ao público. Espera-se que a solução escolhida possa auxiliar e contribuir no processo de leitura, de forma que a criança tome gosto pela leitura e a torne como hábito
