Sala de aula invertida no ensino de Química: planejamento, aplicação e avaliação no ensino médio

A new form of teaching, hybrid teaching, which mixes instruction in the classroom with online instruction, is presenting with great potential applicability in the process of teaching learning by enabling the student to learn at his own pace and in a personalized way. In the literature, it is observed that a great part of the works involve groups of curricular components of courses of higher education, being few the applications reported in high school. In this paper we present the results of the application of the Flipped classroom model applied in the discipline of Chemistry with students of the 3rd year of high school, using the wiki tool Pbworks as a virtual learning environment. During the presentation of the Radioactivity content, questionnaires and a quizz were applied with the objective of evaluating both the learning and the degree of satisfaction of the students in relation to the applied methodology. It was observed that most of the students approved the Flipped classroom method as well as the virtual learning environment used. When compared to a control group, it was observed that the participants of the inverted approach achieved better results, demonstrating the potential of the method for the teaching of Chemistry.Uma nova forma de ensino, o ensino híbrido, que mistura a instrução em sala de aula com a instrução on-line, vem se apresentando com um grande potencial de aplicabilidade no processo de ensino aprendizagem por possibilitar que o aluno aprenda em seu próprio ritmo e de forma personalizada. Na literatura, observa-se que grande parte dos trabalhos envolvem turmas de componentes curriculares de cursos de ensino superior, sendo escassas as aplicações relatadas no ensino médio. Neste trabalho apresentamos os resultados da aplicação do modelo de sala de aula invertida aplicada na disciplina de Química com alunos do 3° ano do ensino médio, utilizando a ferramenta wiki Pbworks como ambiente virtual de aprendizagem. Durante a apresentação do conteúdo de Radioatividade, foram aplicados questionários e um quizz com objetivo de avaliar tanto o aprendizado quanto o grau de satisfação dos alunos em relação a metodologia aplicada. Foi observado que a maioria dos alunos aprovou o método de sala de aula invertida, assim como o ambiente virtual de aprendizagem utilizado. Quando comparados a um grupo controle, foi observado que os participantes da abordagem invertida alcançaram melhores resultados, demonstrando a potencialidade do método para o ensino de Química
