The objective of this study was to compare the level of knowledge about financial education among students of public schools in Goiana-PE and João Pessoa-PB. It was used the questionnaires with 24 questions, divided into four blocks: socioeconomic profile, where the student's academic profile and financial education were designed to know the importance that students give to financial matters and the applicability of the subject covered during the classes, personal finances and financial behavior, with the purpose of knowing the level of financial knowledge of the students and how they behave through the basic situations of the day to day.
