The purpose of this article is to analyze the perception of the pedagogical team and teachers about the importance of psychopedagogical counseling in the school institution. The psychopedagogue works to improve the teaching-learning process and to provide education professionals a better preparation in order to help with the learning problems they face in their working routines. For this analysis, a non-experimental and exploratory field research with a qualitative and quantitative approach was carried out.
