Educação do Campo e EJA: o perfil do alunado no contexto atual

This work aims to present the profile of students of youth and adult education (EJA) in rural education. Youth and Adult Education (EJA) is a teaching modality that aims to serve those who did not have the opportunity to study at the appropriate age or for those who for some reason dropped out. The profile of the students in the field education is different from those enrolled in the urban zone, presenting a more adult age group. In this context, we observe in this study who are the students of youth and adult education of the Municipal School of Primary Education Antônio César de Carvalho located in the rural area in the state of Paraíba, we seek to understand what they aim at returns the classroom. To make the observation, I did a survey of the students enrolled in the EJA cycle I of the night shift, after that I talked / interviewed the students informally. It was used as theoretical reference: Field Education Practices in Brazil Chaves and Foschiera (2014), The social function of the School in the education of the field of Coelho (2011) among others. From the observations made, realize that the students of youth and adult education in the rural school focuses on reading and writing, to improve their quality of life, so they can solve simple everyday situations with more independence. In view of the above, I hope that this work contributes so that the subjects inserted in this modality of teaching understand more about their need and work in the way that attends the interests of the learners.Este trabalho teve como objetivo geral analisar o perfil dos alunos da educação de jovens e adultos (EJA) na educação do campo. A educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA) é uma modalidade de ensino que visa atender aqueles que não tiveram oportunidade de estudar na idade adequada ou para aqueles que por algum motivo abandonaram os estudos. O perfil dos alunos na educação do campo é diferenciado dos que são matriculados na zona urbana, apresentando uma faixa etária mais elevada. Neste contexto, observamos neste trabalho quem são os alunos da educação de jovens e adultos da escola da Municipal de Ensino Fundamental Antônio César de Carvalho situada na zona rural no estado da Paraíba, buscamos compreender o que almejam no retorna a sala de aula. Para a realização desse trabalho, foi executado primeiramente um levantamento dos alunos matriculados. Em seguida um questionário com os discentes da escola das duas turmas (EJA ciclo I e ciclo II). Através dos formulários de matrículas, fizemos um levantamento da faixa etária e sexo dos alunos. Utilizado como referencial teórico: Práticas de Educação do Campo no Brasil de Chaves e Foschiera (2014), A função social da Escola na educação do campo de Coelho (2011) entre outros. Pelas observações realizadas, percebesse que os alunos da educação de jovens e adultos na escola do campo tem como foco o domínio da leitura e escrita, para melhorar sua qualidade de vida, podendo assim resolver situações simples do cotidiano com mais independência. Diante do exposto, espero que este trabalho colabore para que os sujeitos inserido nesta modalidade de ensino compreendam mais sobre sua necessidade e trabalhe da maneira que atenda os interesses dos educandos
