Políticas públicas no CAPS I do Município de Itapororoca - PB

Our work contributes to the debate about psychiatric reform, and for this we contextualize the mental health policy within the scope of the SUS through the CAPS I (Center for Psychosocial Care). Our objective is to analyze how the mental health policy is applied in the scope of the SUS and in the CAPS I, and specifically in the CAPS of the municipality of Itapororoca (PB) so as to know how the professionals act together with the CAPS users, observing how the treatment, and what other methods are used. In this sense, in order to reach the general objective of our research, we understand that it was necessary to seek information on various aspects, such as social formations, economic, religious, political organization, geographical location and services offered to this population. The methodology used was participant observation about the professionals' practice; our conclusion work, which is structured in the main ideas and techniques used to arrive at possible conclusions, and the methodological path was the participatory observation together with the internship classes, and the theoretical reference in which it guaranteed us the luggage that we carry the trip to the field, and all the ethnographic work of the participatory visit. Our pre-notions were that the CAPS comes from a work with questions of the madness itself, but goes beyond, brings a critical analysis of the stigma, of social inclusion in the context of each user, this perspective instigated us to research this area of health . The references subsidized us regarding mental health policies to deepen the field of research and to problematize with other themes such as gender inequality, the body as a political and social object, social changes, capitalism, domestic violence, private jail , social injustices, family abuses, service and management with their peculiarities, and it was when we realized that we were surrounded by complex and provocative questions for a scientific research with contribution to public health policies.O nosso trabalho contribui para o debate acerca da reforma psiquiátrica, e para isto contextualizamos a política de saúde mental no âmbito do SUS por meio do CAPS I (Centro de Atenção Psicossocial). O nosso objetivo é analisar como é aplicada a política de saúde mental no âmbito do SUS e no CAPS I, e especificamente no CAPS do município de Itapororoca (PB) para assim conhecermos como os profissionais atuam junto aos usuários do CAPS, observando como agem o tratamento medicinal, e quais outros métodos são utilizados. Nesse sentido para podermos alcançar o objetivo geral de nossa pesquisa, compreendemos que foi preciso buscar informação de vários aspectos, tais como, formações sociais, econômico, religiosa, organização política, localização geográfica, e os serviços ofertados a essa população. A metodologia utilizada foi a observação participante sobre a prática dos profissionais; as discussões durante o estágio supervisionado e o referencial teórico discutido nos garantiu a bagagem que carregamos a ida ao campo e desenvolvimento do trabalho etnográfico. As nossas pré-noções eram que o CAPS advinha de um trabalho com questões da loucura em si, mas percebemos que vai além; traz uma análise crítica do estigma, da inclusão social no contexto de cada usuário. Essa perspectiva nos instigou a pesquisar esta área da saúde. As referências nos subsidiaram a respeito das políticas de saúde mental para aprofundarmos no campo de pesquisa e problematizar com outras temáticas como desigualdade de gênero, o corpo como um objeto político e social, as mudanças sociais, o capitalismo, a violência doméstica, o cárcere privado, as injustiças sociais, os abusos familiares, o serviço e gestão com suas peculiaridades.
