A leitura literária em escolas rurais de Conde – PB: o olhar do professor

Reading and writing practices occupy a fundamental place in the human being formation as a reader. Being for pleasure or for obligation, they become more indispensable by offering conditions for the subject to develop himself/herself. This research has the purpose of investigating three different schools of the rural area in the city of Conde-PB, noticing the presence of the literary reading not only inside classroom, but observing the role that it has in students and teachers life. Therefore, we conducted interviews with 4th grade teachers in elementary school, in order to acquire information about student’s reader training. Specifically, our aim is to identify reading practices that involve literary reading in the classroom. Altogether, three (3) teachers from three (3) different schools were interviewed. We used, as instruments for data collection, interviews recorded in audio, with semi structured questions. From the theoretical point of view, we take as base the research made by Baranovichi (1997), Zilberman (2009) and Sousa (2008 and 2013). The information analyzed, lead us to conclude that teachers normally use a great variety of activities with literary text in order to practice reading, and they always try to associate it with grammar studies. We also check that teachers have a great difficulty in working with reading in a playful way, since there is no formation in school and no planning that includes this thematic and how it should be worked in classroom.As práticas de leitura e de escrita ocupam um lugar fundamental na formação do ser humano como leitor. Por prazer ou por obrigação, tais práticas torna-se algo indispensável porque oferece condições para o sujeito se desenvolver. Esta pesquisa teve como objetivo principal investigar, em três escolas da área rural do município de Conde-PB, a presença da leitura literária no interior da sala aula e papel que ela exerce. Para tanto, realizamos entrevistas com professoras do 4o ano do ensino fundamental, com o intuito de adquirir informações sobre a formação leitora dos alunos. Especificamente, objetivamos identificar as práticas leitoras que envolvem a leitura literária em sala de aula. Ao todo, foram entrevistadas três (3) professoras de três (3) escolas diferentes. Utilizamos, como instrumentos para a coleta de dados, entrevistas gravadas em áudio, a partir de perguntas semiestruturadas. Do ponto de vista teórico, tomamos como base as pesquisas realizadas por Abramovich (1997), Zilberman (2009) e Sousa (2008 e 2013). As análises dos dados permitiram-nos chegar à conclusão de que as professoras utilizam as mais variadas atividades com o texto literário para trabalhar a leitura, sempre associando ao estudo da gramática. Também verificamos que as professoras têm muita dificuldade em trabalhar a leitura de forma lúdica, já que não existe formação na escola e nem um planejamento que contemple essa temática de como deve ser trabalhada a leitura no ambiente escolar
