This work aims to understand the space of literary reading as a possibility of contribution in social formation and reflections in the teaching and learning processes of the modality of Youth and Adult Education. This research is of bibliographical, documentary and qualitative character. Thus, we proposed to analyze the perspective of a group of EJA cycle V through the application of a questionnaire at the State Normal School of Elementary and Middle School Anísio Pereira Borges, located in Santa Rita/ PB.
