This study aimed to describe and analyze the content of this Geometry in Mathematics books, adopted in public schools in the municipality of Mamanguape/PB, for the final years of primary school. The research methodology used was bibliographical, and used as a theoretical authors such as Costa and Allevato (2010), Birth (2009), Luz (2007), Lorenzato (1995) and many other authors and educators to discuss the importance of textbook, taking it as a main instrument, if not only, that makes up the school supplies for students and teachers.
