It aims to analyze the importance of reading practices developed within the. The justification of the study is based on the relevance of reading as a pedagogical stimulus directed at the clientele of children's education, given the existence of the characteristic space of the library as a propitious environment. As for the methodology, it is qualitative research, based on theoretical-bibliographic, descriptive and exploratory. The questionnaire was used as a research instrument, being the qualitative approach to analyze the data.
