Introduction: The Forensic Dentistry is a science that puts the knowledge of Dentistry in favor of society and Justice. One of the uses of this specialty is a Human identification, of the quality of the study of Palatoscopy. Rugoscopia or Palatoscopy is the study of ridges and grooves present in the mucosa of the hard palate. These wrinkles remain unchanged throughout life and follow a genetic pattern, being important not to study human identification.
