Efeito in vitro de nanopartículas de quitosana na biocorrosão do esmalte dentário

Foram utilizados 52 terceiros molares inclusos para obtenção de blocos de esmalte (4 x 4 mm) e 4 grupos foram formados (n=26) de acordo com as soluções testadas: G1 - 3,85 mg/mL ChNP; G2 - solução de fluoreto de sódio (NaF) 0,5 mg/mL (controle positivo); G3 - Solução de quitosana 5 mg/mL; G4 - água destilada (controle negativo). As amostras foram imersas em ácido cítrico 1% monohidratado por 90s, lavadas em água destilada e em seguida imersas por 2 horas em solução remineralizadora e lavadas com água destilada. Este ciclo foi repetido 4 vezes ao dia durante 7 dias. Após a 1° e 4° exposição ao ácido, as soluções foram aplicadas (tratamento) de acordo com cada grupo, por 2 min e imersas em solução remineralizadora.
