ESTABILIDADE AERÓBIA DE SILAGEM DE PALMA FORRAGEIRA ADITIVADA COM UREIA E FARELO DE TRIGO

Aimed to evaluate the effects of adding wheat bran and urea on the aerobic stability of silage forage cactus by evaluating the chemical composition after exposure to air, pH, ammonia nitrogen, organic acids and temperature. The experiment was conducted at the Forage Laboratory of the Federal University of Paraíba in Areia. We used a completely randomized design arranged on a 4x2 factorial design, which consisted of four levels of wheat bran (0, 5, 10 and 20% of natural material), with or without urea, with four replications. In the case of wheat bran dry matter is presented in a linear manner (P 0,05) for the variables average temperature, maximum temperature and time to reach maximum temperature and rate of rise for the treatments with added urea. For lactic acid, acetic acid and butyric acid had no effect (P> 0,05) in the silage treated with urea. Para ácido lático, ácido acético e ácido butírico não houve efeito (P>0,05) nas silagens tratadas com ureia. O ácido propiônico se apresentou de forma quadrática (P
