The main goal of this research is to investigate the role that tools play in the professional genre that is typical of the activity of beginning teachers as represented during the discursive activity fostered by the Instruction to the Double. This discussion aims at understanding the development of these teachers regarding the representations about the tools which are specific to teaching work.
