The significance of Pedagogy: curricular discourse, social representations and teaching perspectives on initial educationalists‟ education.

This work is about a qualitative research, whose objective consisted of understanding the significance of the Pedagogy for professors of the course of Pedagogy and in the way for which the elaborated meanings happen in the construction of the education perspectives onslaughts for the development of the initial formative process of educationalists. The methodological delineation of this research includes, as technique of collection of data, the accomplishment of interviews with 10 (ten) professors in performance in the course of Pedagogy of the Center of Education of the Federal University of the Paraíba and, as analysis method, the analysis of the speech established in the dialogue enters the Theory of the Social Representations and the Dialogical Theory of the Discourse. The announced analysis was developed in two interconnected and subsequent stages. The first stage consisted of the analysis of the express curricular discourse in the National Curricular Lines of direction for the course of Pedagogy and in the Politician-Pedagogical Project of the course of Pedagogy in the Institution lócus of research. The second stage consisted of analyzes of the discourse of the professors researched, which were developed in way that was possible to find the social representations elaborated around three dimensions of the significance of the Pedagogy: the pedagogical knowledge, the formation in the course of Pedagogy and the profession of educationalist. With regard to the analysis of the curricular discourse, it could be inferred that the epistemological aspect of the Pedagogy is not evident, having some marks that to put in evidence a significance movement represents that it as technology of the teaching work. As for the analysis of the speech of the professors one concluded that the Pedagogy is not configured as first mediating of the construction of the education perspectives, no matter how hard these citizens, in its majority, underline the necessity to locate the quarrel on the meaning identity of the Pedagogy in each discipline. Through the speech of the professors, it is possible to affirm that they represent that in this course she has certain fragility in what says respect to the identity of the pedagogical knowledge, the formation and the professional performance of educacionalists. The professors mean the Pedagogy as a field know-to make distinct of another field, the Education. He occurs, therefore, the separation between the Pedagogy and its object, making as that this if becomes an independent science and with bigger status and relevance. Of the significance of the professors, the Pedagogy and the Education consist of distinct fields of knowledge, what it discloses the existence of the influence of the paradigm of Sciences of the Education in the elaboration of the meanings for the pedagogical knowledge. This paradigm has implied in the spalling of the knowledge on the education and, in consequence, the disciplinarização while organizator principle of the resume of Pedagogy, much even so the professors points this as one of the problematic factors of the course of initial formation of educacionalists. Finally, it is considered that the meaning of the Pedagogy as Science of the Education if it configures as first mediating of the construction of the orienting perspectives of education of the teaching action of the professors.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESEste trabalho trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, cujo objetivo consistiu em compreender a significação da Pedagogia para professores formadores do curso de Pedagogia e no modo pelo qual os significados elaborados incidem na construção das perspectivas de ensino investidas para o desenvolvimento do processo formativo inicial de pedagogos. O delineamento metodológico dessa pesquisa inclui, como técnica de coleta de dados, a realização de entrevistas com 10 (dez) professores formadores em atuação no curso de Pedagogia do Centro de Educação da Universidade Federal da Paraíba e, como método de análise, a análise do discurso fundada no diálogo entre a Teoria das Representações Sociais e a Teoria Dialógica do Discurso. A análise anunciada foi desenvolvida em duas etapas interconectadas e subseqüentes. A primeira etapa consistiu na análise do discurso curricular expresso nas Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais para o curso de Pedagogia e no Projeto Político-Pedagógico do curso de Pedagogia na Instituição lócus de pesquisa. A segunda etapa consistiu na analise do discurso dos professores formadores pesquisados, a qual foi desenvolvida de modo que fosse possível mapear as representações sociais elaboradas em torno de três dimensões da significação da Pedagogia: o conhecimento pedagógico, a formação no curso de Pedagogia e a profissão de pedagogo. Com relação à análise do discurso curricular, pôde-se depreender que o aspecto epistemológico da Pedagogia não é evidente, havendo algumas marcas que explicitam um movimento de significação que a representa como tecnologia do trabalho docente. No que se refere à análise do discurso dos professores formadores, concluiu-se que a Pedagogia não se configura como matriz mediadora da construção das perspectivas de ensino, por mais que esses sujeitos, em sua maioria, sublinhem a necessidade de localizar a discussão sobre o significado identitário da Pedagogia em cada disciplina. Através do discurso dos professores formadores, é possível afirmar que eles representam que nesse curso há certa fragilidade no que diz respeito à identidade do conhecimento pedagógico, da formação e da atuação profissional do pedagogo. Os professores formadores significam a Pedagogia como um campo de saberes-fazeres distinto de outro campo, a Educação. Ocorre, portanto, a separação entre a Pedagogia e o seu objeto, fazendo como que este se torne uma ciência independente e com maior abrangência e relevância. Na significação dos professores, a Pedagogia e a Educação consistem em campos de conhecimento distintos, o que revela a existência da influência do paradigma das Ciências da Educação na elaboração dos significados para o conhecimento pedagógico. Esse paradigma tem implicado na fragmentação do conhecimento sobre a educação e, em conseqüência, na disciplinarização enquanto princípio organizador do currículo de Pedagogia, muito embora os professores apontem isso como um dos fatores problemáticos do curso de formação inicial de pedagogos. Finalmente, propõe-se que o significado da Pedagogia como Ciência da Educação se constitua em uma matriz mediadora da construção das perspectivas de ensino orientadoras da ação docente dos professores formadores
