PESQUISA DE ANTICORPOS ANTI-SALMONELLA GALLINARUM E SALMONELLA PULLORUM EM GALINHAS CAIPIRAS NO MUNICÍPIO DE AREIA - PB

Salmonellosis are diseases caused by bacteria of the genus Salmonella, which can cause diseases in humans, in which it is responsible for a large number of toxinfections, and in animals, the birds being the most affected group, suffering from three different diseases: a Pulorose caused by Salmonella Pullorum; the avian typhus caused by Salmonella Gallinarum; and the avian paratyphoid is caused by the Salmonellas paratificas, which are all other salmonella except these two previously mentioned. These diseases are sources of great damages when they come to undertake poultry farms for that reason the MAPA (Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Supply) institutes measures to promote the control of these diseases because these measures are not applied to the creations of poltry or the creations of small properties. Thus, this study aimed to determine the prevalence of antibodies against Salmonella enterica subspecies Enterica serovars Pullorum and Gallinarum in poultrys in the city of Areia-PB. In October and November 2017, 283 blood serum samples were collected from poltry, from 16 property. These sera were examined by the SAR (plaque agglutination) test, where 34.63% (98/283) samples were considered as reagents and in only one property there were no positive samples, therefore is concluded that S. Pullorum and S. Gallinarum are widespread in the farms of poltry in the municipality of Areia-PB.Salmoneloses são enfermidades provocadas por bactérias do gênero salmonella, podendo causar doenças tanto em animais, quanto em humanos, nos quais são responsáveis por um vasto número de toxinfecções. As aves formam um dos grupos mais acometido sofrendo com três enfermidades distintas: a pulorose causada pela Salmonella Pullorum; o tifo aviário, causado pela Salmonella Gallinarum; e o Paratifo aviário causado pelas Salmonellas paratificas, que são todas as outras salmonelas exceto as duas anteriormente citadas. Essas enfermidades são fontes de grandes prejuízos quando vêm a acometer planteis avícolas, por esse motivo o (Ministério da Agricultura Pecuária e Abastecimento) MAPA institui medidas para promover o controle dessas enfermidades, entretanto essas medidas não se aplicam as criações de galinhas caipiras nem as criações de pequenas propriedades. Dessa forma este trabalho teve como objetivo determinar a prevalência de anticorpos contra Salmonella enterica subespécie enterica sorovares Pullorum e Gallinarum em galinhas caipiras no município de Areia-PB. Nos meses de outubro e novembro de 2017 foram colhidas 283 amostras de soro sanguíneo de galinhas caipiras provenientes de 16 criações. Os soros foram examinados pelo teste (soroaglutinação rápida) SAR em placa, onde 34,63% (98/283) amostras foram consideradas reagentes e, em apenas uma criação não houve amostras positivas, concluindo-se que as S. Pullorum e S. Gallinarum estão difundidas nas criações de galinhas caipiras no município de Areia-PB
