Pegada hídrica da microrregião do Cariri Ocidental - PB

Aiming at the sustainable use of water resources, the water footprint is defined as the total annual water used in the production of goods and services. This work aims to evaluate the water footprint of Cariri Ocidental Paraibano, based on income, gender and consumption of the population and correlate with climatology and hydrography. Data were collected from the population of the micro-region by gender and income. Later they were calculated generating the Water Footprint. For the climatology the pluviometric data were spatialization and the monthly precipitation graph was generated, through the calculation of the means of precipitation of the study area. For the hydrography the data of the drainage and reservoirs of Paraíba were used. The results of this research were divided into three categories, by gender, income and consumption and in all analyzes the data were divided into the subcategories: vegetarian, medium and high meat consumer. It was concluded that the man has a higher PH than the woman; the people who receive the highest salaries have a higher PH; and the high consumer has a higher PH. Another point is that the PH of the microregion is high where in relation to the climatology and the hydrography, it was verified that the water consumption exceeds the support capacity of the microregion.Visando o uso sustentável dos recursos hídricos, surge a pegada hídrica a qual é definida como o total anual de água utilizado na produção de bens e serviços. Este trabalho objetiva avaliar a pegada hídrica do Cariri Ocidental Paraibano, com base na renda, gênero e consumo da população e correlacionar com a climatologia e hidrografia. Foram coletados os dados da população da microrregião por gênero e renda. Posteriormente foram calculados gerando a Pegada Hídrica. Para a climatologia os dados pluviométricos foram espacialização e gerado o gráfico de precipitação mensal, através do calculo das médias de precipitação da área de estudo. Para a hidrografia foram utilizados os dados da drenagem e açudes da Paraíba. Os resultados desta pesquisa foram divididos em três categorias, por gênero, renda e consumo e em todas as análises os dados foram divididos nas subcategorias: vegetariano, médio e alto consumidor de carne. Concluiu-se que o homem possui uma PH maior que a mulher; as pessoas que recebem os maiores salários possuem uma PH maior; e o alto consumidor possui um PH maior. Outro ponto é que a PH da microrregião é alta onde ao relaciona-la com a climatologia e a hidrografia, constatou-se que o consumo de água excede a capacidade de suporte da microrregião
