Uma análise sobre deslocamentos pendulares por motivo de estudo na Região Metropolitana de João Pessoa-PB

Pendular displacements can be characterized as flows of daily movements, which are carried out by the population frequently to carry out activities related to study and work in other locations, different from their domicile. In this perspective, we propose some reflections about the pendular displacement due to study in the Metropolitan Region of João Pessoa-RMJP, specifically in 5 (five) municipalities: Bayeux, Cabedelo, Conde, João Pessoa and Santa Rita. It is necessary to present some social and economic characteristics of the students who carry out this type of movement, as well as their spatiality in the cities of origin. The objective was to understand the dynamics of the commuting flows in the RMJP, based on a reading of the 2010 census data. To achieve this objective, an exploratory research with a quantitative approach was carried out, several sources were used, Documentary research and an analysis and tabulation in the microdata of the Demographic Census. The data processing was performed through spreadsheet programs, the use of this type of system assisted in the creation of tables and graphs. As a result of this research it was verified that João Pessoa is a pole of attraction of neighboring municipalities. The analysis of the selected variables allowed to verify which were the municipalities that were receivers of students. João Pessoa was confirmed as the main destination municipality of the students, a result attributed to a large number of educational institutions in this locality. The municipality of Cabedelo was highlighted by the intensity of the outflow of students.Os deslocamentos pendulares podem ser caracterizados como fluxos de movimentos diários, que são realizados pela população com frequência para realizar atividades relacionadas a estudo e trabalho em outras localidades, diferente do seu domicílio. Nessa perspectiva, propõe-se algumas reflexões sobre o deslocamento pendular por motivo de estudo na Região Metropolitana de João Pessoa-RMJP, especificamente em 5 (cincos) municípios a saber: Bayeux, Cabedelo, Conde, João Pessoa e Santa Rita. Torna-se necessário apresentar algumas características sociais e econômicas dos estudantes que realizam este tipo de movimento nesta localidade, bem como a sua espacialidade nas cidades de origem. O objetivo foi compreender a dinâmica dos fluxos dos deslocamentos pendulares na RMJP, a partir de uma leitura dos dados censitários de 2010. Para atingir tal objetivo realizou-se uma pesquisa de caráter exploratório com uma abordagem quantitativa, foram utilizadas várias fontes dentre elas pode-se citar: pesquisa documental e uma análise e tabulação nos microdados do Censo Demográfico. O tratamento dos dados foi realizado através de programas de planilhas eletrônicas, o uso deste tipo de sistema auxiliou na criação de tabelas e gráficos. Como resultado dessa pesquisa constatou-se que João Pessoa é um polo de atração de municípios vizinhos. A análise das variáveis selecionadas possibilitou verificar quais eram os municípios que eram receptores de estudantes. João Pessoa se confirmou como o principal município de destino dos discentes, resultado atribuído a grande quantidade de instituições de ensino nesta localidade.
